We're Home

We're home after a very long, exhausting week. Yesterday we went to St. Jacobs Market (fun fun fun), and had two lectures in the afternoon. And then last night we had a dinner to meet the puppy raisers and volunteers that were involved with our dog over their puppyhood. It was a great evening, I met Milo's puppyraisers, a great young couple who are having a difficult time letting Milo go, but I can totally understand why...Milo is a great dog! After that we all went out for a nightcap at the hotel for one final night together :(
Today was our practise run-through for our public access test! Wow, that makes one sweat. But Milo did fantastic, he surprised me at what we can do together :) It was an amazing feeling walking through the mall, with my dog, knowing that he was doing such a great job, I couldn't have been more proud.
Then Steve picked me up from the hotel. Abby and Justus were with him. Abby was very upset, in meltdown mode because they had been in the lobby and she caught sight of the pool :( But after she settled down, she was excited about Milo. Justus is also pretty interested. Logan is doing FANTASTIC with the transition for a dog in the house. You can tell he was stressed, but he was interested too. He's done a great job of petting him, and coming by time after time...Logan and Abby have both tried to ride him like a horse, but Milo doesn't seem to care. :)
Overall, I'm extremely happy at how well the first day went, I expected that they might throw a fuss or something. I'm pleasantly surprised.
